Ep 8: When Haters Go Hunting...and Find You

Air Date: March 24, 2026

I shared one sentence online after a full day of working with women in a space that felt deeply grounding, connected, and powerful, and I woke up the next morning to hundreds of comments attacking my character, my work, and my integrity.

What started as a simple observation about ADHD and nervous system dysregulation turned into a full public pile-on that included being called a fraud, a scammer, and worse, along with direct threats from someone in the healing space who said he intended to destroy my reputation.

In this episode, I walk through exactly what happened, including the original post, the reaction, the apology that intensified the response, and the conversation with my coach that brought me back into clarity. I also share what this experience revealed underneath the surface, including the fear of being seen, the fear of being misunderstood, the fear of not being liked, and the deeper tension that can exist between telling the truth and maintaining approval.

This is not a conversation about online hate. It is a conversation about what happens internally when you are fully expressed and no longer in control of how you are perceived.

I also go deeper into what I originally meant in that post and why I believe there is an important distinction between ADHD and patterns that are rooted in nervous system dysregulation and unresolved trauma, and what becomes possible when you begin to address the root instead of only managing symptoms.

If you have ever felt yourself holding back, editing your voice, or questioning whether it is safe to be fully seen in your work, this episode will meet you there.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

✅ What actually happens in your body when you are publicly criticized or misunderstood
✅ How to move through visibility backlash without shutting down or abandoning yourself
✅ The difference between being triggered and being out of alignment in your work
✅ What fear of being seen is really protecting you from
✅ How to stay grounded in your voice when you are no longer in control of perception
✅ A deeper perspective on ADHD and nervous system dysregulation and why the distinction matters
