Ep 3:Â Why You Shrink in Rooms You Were Meant to Lead
Air Date: February 16, 2026
You just closed the biggest deal of your career. Your boss asks about it in the meeting. And you hear yourself say, "Oh, it was just lucky timing. Team effort, really."
But it wasn't luck. You worked your ass off. You strategized. You executed flawlessly. But something in you can't just own it.
You think that's humility, but it's not. It's the 'too much' wound.
It's been running your entire life: minimizing your wins, apologizing before you speak, making yourself smaller in every room you enter, dimming your light so other people feel comfortable, and teaching the next generation - your daughter, your niece, the young women watching you - that being big isn't safe.
In this episode, I'm breaking down the 'too much' wound you've been carrying since childhood, and showing you exactly how to reclaim your bigness at the ROOT in weeks, not years.
Here's what we're covering:
- Why confidence coaching and "lean in" advice hasn't changed anything (and what actually does)
- The survival pattern created when you learned that being big equals rejection
- How you're unconsciously teaching your daughter to shrink (and what that costs her)
- The Bigness Reclamation: my mechanism within the Find Your Fire Method that releases the need to shrink at the root
- Katherine's transformation: from being passed over for CEO three times to landing the role in 8 weeks, not by becoming more qualified, but by finally owning the competence she'd always had
Â
This episode is for you if you:
- Deflect compliments immediately ("Oh, it's nothing, anyone could have done it")
- Apologize before sharing your ideas ("This might be stupid, but...")
- Make yourself smaller in rooms where you're the most qualified person
- Can't celebrate wins publicly because it feels like bragging
- Monitor your volume, your enthusiasm, your presence constantly
- Were told as a kid you were too loud, too much, too emotional, too intense
- Watch other people take credit for your ideas while you stay silent
- Can't say "I did that" without adding qualifiers
Here's the truth:Â You're not too much. You never were. You're not too loud, too intense, too ambitious, too smart. Everyone else is just numb. And you've spent decades making yourself smaller so they'd be comfortable.
Your 'too much' wound isn't a character flaw. It's a survival pattern created when your bigness got you punished and your smallness got you praised. And it's healable at the root, in weeks, not years.
That's The Bigness Reclamation. That's what makes transformation happen fast - because we're not teaching you to be more confident, we're releasing the pattern that makes you shrink in the first place.
Your daughter is watching. What do you want to teach her?
