Congrats, friend! You just completed the "What's Your Connection Type" quiz, and that means you're done waiting years for something that should take weeks. You're ready to feel playful, present, and like yourself again - not someday, but starting now.
Your Connection Type is: Touched OutÂ
You like your people. You just wish they would stop freaking needing you for five minutes.
You remember when your partner’s hand on your leg while you watched TV was just…nice, and you could curl up beside them, talk about your day, or kiss them in the kitchen without feeling like someone wanted something from you.
These days, however, it is not always the touch itself that gets you.
Sometimes, it is the fact that someone wants one. more. freaking. thing. from you.
You have already answered 900 questions, someone has needed your attention every eleven seconds, and you have been interrupted so many times that you cannot remember what the hell you were doing in the first place. By the time your partner asks you one completely reasonable question, you can feel yourself thinking, “If ONE MORE PERSON needs something from me, I am going to lose my shit.”Â
The annoying part is that your partner might not even be doing anything wrong.
They might walk over to give you a hug, ask what you want for dinner, or start telling you a story, and somehow your internal response is immediately, “PLEASE. STOP. I cannot do one more thing right now.”
Sometimes you say it more nicely than that. Sometimes you absolutely do not.Â
You might snap over something that normally would not bother you, become weirdly controlling about how something gets done, or start picking at little things because, at that moment, being annoyed feels easier than being needed again.
Your partner is standing there wondering what the hell just happened, while you are wondering why nobody seems to understand that you have been available to other human beings for approximately 147 consecutive hours.
This is the part of being Touched Out that is easy to miss, because it is not always about having too much physical touch.
Sometimes, it feels like you have had too much ACCESS.
When people have had access to your attention, energy, time, personal space, and body all day, you can start fiercely protecting whatever tiny piece of yourself still feels like yours.
That can look like pulling away before anyone asks for more, getting short because you desperately need the conversation to end, or trying to control what happens next because you cannot handle one more freaking surprise.
You are not necessarily trying to push away the people you love.
You are trying to get enough space to feel like you belong to yourself again.
The confusing part is that you still really freaking want connection.
This is where being Touched Out can mess with your head, because you can desperately want everyone to BACK UP while also missing the version of yourself who actually enjoyed being close to your person.
You miss laughing together over something completely stupid and feeling affectionate without your brain immediately calculating what somebody might want from you next.
You might genuinely want the back rub, but you want to know that the back rub can simply feel freaking amazing without becoming the opening act for something else.
You might want to curl up together, but you also want to know that you can enjoy being close without having to manage where that closeness is headed.
You might even want to kiss your person and feel that delicious little “Oh, COME HERE” feeling again, while also knowing that you can stop whenever you freaking want to.
What you are craving is not necessarily less connection.
You are craving connection that does not cost you more of yourself.
When you know that your attention, energy, space, and body are actually yours, you no longer have to protect them quite so fiercely.
Instead of waiting until you are ready to scream, “CAN EVERYONE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!”, you can start noticing what you need before you reach that point and actually ask for it.
Maybe you need ten quiet minutes when you walk through the door before anyone starts talking to you. Maybe you want your partner to sit beside you and make you laugh without expecting you to do anything in return. Maybe you want affection that you can simply receive because it feels really freaking good to receive it.
Once you stop spending so much energy protecting yourself from what you do not want, you finally have room to notice something much more interesting:
What DO you want?
That is where this gets fun, because you are not trying to become a woman who is nicer, easier, less demanding, or better at tolerating everyone having access to her.
You are becoming a woman who knows what she needs, says it before she reaches DEFCON 1, and has enough of herself left to actually enjoy the people she freaking loves.
You are not learning how to tolerate more closeness.
You are creating enough space, choice, and ownership of yourself that you actually WANT to move closer.
Your Connection Cheat Sheet
Connection comes easier when...Â
- You can say, “I need ten minutes where nobody needs me,” and nobody assumes you are mad at them.
- Your partner sees what needs to be done and just handles it without asking you six questions about how.
- You can change your mind, say no, or want something different without having to build a legal case for it.
- You can be irritated or overwhelmed without every bad mood turning into, “Are we okay?”
- A hug gets to be just a hug, and you never have to wonder what you accidentally agreed to by enjoying it.
- Someone does something thoughtful for YOU, and you get to receive it without planning, directing, reminding, or reciprocating.
- You have enough room in your life for the version of you who laughs too loud, says something inappropriate, and actually wants to freaking PLAY.
- Your partner understands that sometimes giving you a little space is exactly what helps you want to come find them later.
Â
          Connection disappears when...Â
- Someone asks you one more question they could have figured out on their own.
- You finally sit down and, within thirty seconds, someone needs something from you.
- You have to delegate, remind, and explain so much that doing it yourself would have been less freaking work.
- You say, “I need a minute,” and someone immediately follows you with, “Okay, but are you mad at me?”
- You have already spent all day being climbed on, talked at, interrupted, and needed, and now your partner wants access to you too.
- You have to say the same boundary more than once, and suddenly you are WAY more pissed off than the situation probably deserves.
- Affection starts feeling like another request you have to respond to instead of something you simply get to enjoy.
- You realize you are picking at everything your partner is doing because you are so freaking maxed out that even the way they load the dishwasher is getting on your nerves.

Turns Out, This Isn't Just About Your Romantic Relationship...
you may start noticing it in places that have absolutely nothing to do with intimacy.
With your kids... you can adore the tiny humans you created and still feel your eye start twitching when you hear, “Mooooom?” for the 847th time before noon.
You may answer a completely innocent question with a little more spice than the situation required, lose your mind because someone cannot find the shoes that are DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THEM, or hear yourself saying, “Guys, I need everyone to stop talking to me for FIVE MINUTES.”
You love them more than anything, but sometimes you do not need another cuddle, question, snack request, or story that somehow takes fourteen minutes to get to the point.
You need to stop being needed for a minute.
With your family... you may notice that your patience disappears much faster when everyone has an opinion, a suggestion, or a request for how you should spend your time.
The favor you normally would not mind doing suddenly feels enormous, unsolicited advice makes you want to scream, and someone asking, “Why don't you just...?” can make your patience leave the building.
You are not necessarily angry at them.
You are tired of everyone having a vote in what you do.
Â
With your friends... you may genuinely WANT the girls' night, the ridiculous conversations, and the laughing-so-hard-you-cry kind of fun, but you have absolutely no interest in becoming the person who plans the whole thing.
If choosing the restaurant, finding a date, making the reservation, and reminding everyone where you are meeting somehow lands in your lap, the fun thing can start feeling like one more freaking job.
You do not want fewer friendships.
You want relationships where you get to show up and ENJOY yourself instead of automatically becoming the cruise director.
THAT is the part that matters.
You have not become cold, bitchy, controlling, or impossible to please.
When you have spent too long being needed, interrupted, responsible, and available, you may start protecting yourself by getting sharper, more controlling, or much quicker to push people away.
Underneath all that, “Can everybody PLEASE just handle their own shit for five minutes?” energy is not a woman who wants everyone to disappear.
It is a woman who wants enough room to be herself again, so she can actually ENJOY the people she loves.

You may have been trying to start at the wrong end.
When intimacy starts disappearing, most of us immediately focus on intimacy.
We need more date nights.
I should initiate more.
We need to spice things up.
Why am I never in the mood anymore?
Except sex isn't where your disconnect started, so sex isn't where I would start fixing it.
For Touched Out, there is an order in which connection comes back:
Â
You stop feeling like your body is constantly available to everyone else. You get room to breathe, move away, say “not right now,” and decide when you actually want someone in your space.
↓
CHOICE (You stop feeling like everything requires a response)
When you know you are allowed to choose what you give, when you give it, and when you are freaking DONE, you do not have to push everyone away just to feel in control.
↓
RECEIVING (Connection stops feeling like one more thing you have to give)
Someone else handles something without asking you how. Your partner makes you laugh when you have had a shit day. You get affection, attention, or care without immediately wondering what you are supposed to do in return. You finally get to experience connection as something that can give something back to YOU.
↓
PLAY + PLEASURE (You actually start enjoying your person again)
You have enough of yourself left to be silly, linger in a conversation, laugh until your stomach hurts, or kiss them because it sounds freaking FUN. You start having moments where you genuinely think, “Wait, come hang out with me.”
↓
DESIRE (Now has somewhere to land)
You are not forcing yourself to want sex or trying to become more affectionate. Touch can finally spark curiosity instead of calculation. You get to notice when “this feels good” becomes “I want more.”
Â
You’ve been trying to start at Step 5, so of course scheduling sex, planning more date nights, or telling yourself you should initiate hasn't created the connection you're craving.
More touch was never the first thing you needed.
For you, we start with space and ownership, because when you know you don't have to move closer, you finally get the freedom to discover when you actually want to.
That’s the process behind Reignite.
Maybe you don’t want a different relationship, a different partner, or even more sex.
Maybe you just miss when being close felt easy.
When you could curl up next to your person without wondering where it was going. When being touched felt like something you could enjoy, instead of something you had to manage.
That version of you is still very much in there.
She just needs touch to feel like hers again.
That’s exactly why I created Reignite.
90 days to stop pulling away and actually crave closeness with your partner again.
Â
Reignite is for you if you...
...have gotten very good at protecting your space, but having more space hasn't magically made you want closeness again.
...have explained what you don't want approximately 47 different ways, but you're much less clear on what actually makes you melt, open, play, and want more.
...keep waiting for life to calm down, the kids to need you less, or the magical week when nobody annoys you, hoping that version of you will just reappear.
...don't simply want your partner to touch you less. You want to become the woman who genuinely enjoys being touched again.
Â
After Reignite, life could feel more like...
- Letting someone touch you without your brain immediately jumping three moves ahead.
- Knowing exactly what kinds of touch make you relax, and which ones are a hard pass.
- Enjoying a hug, back rub, makeout session, or closeness without feeling like you owe anyone what comes next.
- Catching yourself leaning in, lingering, reaching first, or thinking, “Ohhh...more of THAT.”
Â
Reignite isn't about teaching you to tolerate more touch, become more affectionate, or turn into some permanently horny version of yourself.
Absolutely not.
This is about making closeness feel like yours again.
It’s about being able to receive without bracing, move closer without worrying about what comes next, and discover what happens when touch isn't something you have to manage.Â
Eventually, when your partner reaches for you...instead of your first thought being,"Oh God. What does this mean?"Â you notice something very different.
You want to move closer.
If you're reading this thinking, “I miss THAT.”
Good.
Let's go get it back.
